THE SURROUNDINGS
Just five minutes from Ladeira Beach and very close to the Camino de Santiago, the apartments are located in the rural village of Sabarfs, a renovated area with pedestrian zones, squares and streets ideal for enjoying one of the most beautiful corners of Galicia.
Activities and Experiences
In addition to its natural beauty, Baiona offers a wealth of scenic, historical, ethnographic and gastronomic attractions, which together form an incomparable natural and cultural heritage, brimming with opportunities for enjoyment and enrichment.

FOZ de la RAMALLOSA
Estuary located at the mouth of the Miñor River, protected from the sea’s action by the sand strip of Playa Ladeira, forming an ecosystem of great natural value.
Foz de la Ramallosa
Next to the apartments lies the 90-hectare estuary and marshland known as “Esteiro da Foz,” located at the river mouth of the Miñor River. It is protected from the sea by the sandy strip of Playa Ladeira, which gives the wetland unique characteristics that support both permanent and migratory wildlife, forming an ecosystem of great value. As part of the Natura 2000 Network, the area maintains a high environmental quality and great biological diversity—especially in terms of birdlife, with more than a hundred different species—making the Foz an exceptional spot for birdwatching or simply for taking a pleasant stroll alongside a scenic natural landscape, whose appearance changes several times a day due to the tides.

BEACHES
In addition to Playa Ladeira, the largest beach in the municipality (1.7 km), Baiona has a wide variety of beautiful beaches with diverse and unique characteristics.
Beaches
Ladeira Beach is the longest in Baiona, with 1.7 km of sandy shore, which actually forms the protective barrier for La Foz. Just a 5-minute walk from the apartments, Ladeira is the ideal beach to visit from Modul Suites. However, the municipality of Baiona has several other beaches—smaller but equally beautiful—each with its own unique characteristics, whether in terms of the composition of the sand, its orientation, or the views it offers, making them well worth a visit and, of course, a truly enjoyable day of sunbathing and swimming.

MONTERREAL PENINSULA
Surrounded by 3 km of walls (12th to 17th century), the Monte Boi Peninsula houses the Monterreal Fortress and the Parador, composing a set worthy of visiting and walking.
Monterreal Peninsula
Known for more than 2,000 years as a walled enclosure, the Monte Boi Peninsula is surrounded by 3 km of walls, which house the Monterreal Fortress and the Parador, forming an iconic landmark of Baiona that is well worth visiting and exploring. To explore the site, you can access it and walk along the rampart walk—the path that runs along the top of the wall—or take the beautiful circular route of the Monte Boi promenade, which begins and ends at La Palma Park. This route offers unparalleled views of the town and its entire coastal setting, with the Estelas Islands—which close off Baiona Bay—in the foreground, and, further in the background, the Cíes Islands Natural Park, which can be reached (depending on the season) in just 40 minutes by boat from the ferry terminal.

Historic Center
Declared a Site of Historical-Artistic Interest in 1993, it has three access points: through Santa Liberata Square, Padre Fernando Square, and from the Trinity Cross. In addition to its natural beauty, Baiona offers multiple scenic, historical, ethnographic, and gastronomic attractions, forming an incomparable natural and cultural heritage, full of alternatives for enjoyment and vital enrichment.

Monte Boi Promenade
It surrounds the peninsula of the same name, starting and ending at La Palma Park, offering unparalleled views of the town and its entire maritime environment. o

Pedestrian and Cycling Path
Next to the apartments runs a pedestrian and cycling path (14 km), which connects to the circular path of Monte Boi to the south and reaches the port of Panxón (Nigrán) to the north.

Virgin of the Rock
With a height of 15 meters, the stone sculpture by Antonio Palacios has a spiral staircase inside that leads to the boat-viewpoint held by the Virgin in her right hand.

SERRA da GROBA
Rising up to 630 meters in altitude, apart from its beautiful views and ethnographic richness, it is home to the largest concentration of native equine breeds living in the wild.

Caravel La Pinta
The caravel Pinta, captained by Martín Alonso Pinzón, was the first to return from Columbus’s expedition (Baiona, 01/03/1493), giving rise to the current Arribada Festival.

CAMINO de SANTIAGO
Just 100 meters from the apartments runs the Portuguese Coastal Way of Saint James, which departs from Baiona, crossing the Miñor River via the Romanesque Bridge of La Ramallosa.

Water Sports
At Playa Ladeira and Baiona in general, there are multiple opportunities to practice water sports (sailing, paddle surfing, etc.) or rent boats or jet skis.

Excursion to the Cíes Islands
From the Marina and the Maritime Station, there are various options to visit the incomparable natural park of the Cíes Islands… You can’t miss it!
